Multiple Income Statement Formats

These are a few examples of the reports available to your company. There are many variations on these and other reports too numerous to display each of them here.

ActiveApplications provides a flexible method for creating income statements that show you profit and loss information arranged in the order you need with any account combination you desire. The order of your income statement is not dependant upon the account number. This flexibility means your current chart of account structure is easily expanded to meet unknown future needs. 

Sometimes a very simple income statement is needed. At other times a detailed or departmentalized income statement is needed. Sometimes you need to see similar accounts printed together. At other times the same accounts must be rearranged to display profit and loss by division. Formatting of your income statement in AA allows you to accomplish all these combinations with ease. A chart of accounts can be complicated and you may have multiple purposes when printing your income statement.

Once set up the formats can be saved for you to recall when that format is needed. The productivity features built into AA are too numerous to mention but formatting of income statements is one you must have.

The report samples displayed in these examples are captured directly from the report program that generates the report. Built into every UDS report is the ability to view it on the screen or place the report directly into Word or Excel format if those applications are available on your computer. Export it into one of several other file formats is available, too.
